Terms of Service

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Welcome to Videocall. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Videocall browser extension, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Videocall is a free communication tool that lets you make peer-to-peer audio and video calls, exchange text messages, and share files with the people you choose to connect with. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Videocall. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

To use most features of the Service you will need to register an account by choosing a username and password. You are responsible for:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Videocall, you agree not to:

We may remove content, terminate accounts, or restrict access in response to violations of this section.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the messages, files, and other content you send through the Service ("User Content"). You grant us only the limited rights needed to transmit, store, and display your User Content for the purpose of operating the Service for you and the people you communicate with.

Calls connect directly between participants whenever the network allows. We do not record or store the audio or video of your calls.

6. Free Service and No Guarantees of Availability

Videocall is provided free of charge. We do our best to keep the Service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific levels of quality. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

7. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Videocall name, logo, website, extension, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or brand assets without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Videocall and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
